Paul James Harvey Obituary

Paul James Harvey, of Marysville, CA, passed away December 28, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1968 in Las Vegas, NV. He was a 10 year resident of the Yuba Sutter area.

Paul was a Director of Manufacturing at Siemens Transportation Systems. He served in the US Air Force and was a Gulf War Veteran.

Anyone who had the privilege of meeting Paul Harvey knew that he was a rare class of man that could be the upbeat life-of-the-party one moment; while also being the patient, rational voice of reason in the face of conflict in the next moment.

A pragmatic and natural leader; Paul excelled at virtually everything. He proved this through his solid work ethic and upward progression at work, but more importantly his unbridled passion to be the greatest father and caretaker he could. To say that Paul went the extra mile to be the best father he could possibly be is more than an understatement.

He applied a confident approach to all manners in life, demonstrating a magnetic quality that drew everyone into his warm company. He allowed everyone into his gentle soul and had an extraordinary ability to make anyone feel like a lifelong true friend.

Paul was a well versed man in the sense there was no challenge too big or burdensome to overcome, and he lived his life continuously proving he had the perseverance of a bold & inspirational man, attentive father, and inspirational family member. Gone from this earth too soon, Paul will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.

Paul is survived by his wife Heidi Harvey of Marysville, CA, daughter Kimberly Aguirre of Sacramento, CA, son Trevor Harvey of Sacramento, CA, daughter Karyssa Harvey of Yuba City, CA, daughter Layla Harvey of Yuba City, CA, mother Antoinette Shillings of Clinton, UT, father Duncan Fraser Harvey of Altha, FL, brother Alan Harvey of Milford, NJ, sister Kristine Harvey of Clinton, UT, sister April Shillings of Clinton, UT, and sister Dawn Ashton of South Ogden, UT. He was preceded in death by grandparents Wanda and James Tzanakis, and Jean and James Harvey.

Cremation will take place at Lakeside Crematory. Family and friends are invited to Lakeside Colonial Chapel, 830 D Street Marysville, CA for A Celebration of Life on Thursday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
