Roxie Leinenweaver Obituary

Roxie Leinenweaver 56, of Rio Oso, CA, a loving mother, wife and mema, left us on April 21, 2014 as God called her to his side while she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born July 19, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA, she was a life long resident of the Yuba Sutter area.

A member of the East Nicoulaus Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years as well as a loving administrator for several assisted living facilities in the community. She was also a Mason's wife.

Roxie spent her days loving her family and spending time with them. All the nieces and nephews knew her as a mother more than an aunt, as she was always willing to take them and do things with them. She taught all her family how to be fiesty and full of spirit with her ability to just lay it all out. And above all, how to openly except anyone. These are the qualities that all of us will take with us forever and ever.

Survived by her loving husband, Lonny Leinenweaver; and her children, Lela Bigham, Kim Leinenweaver, Lonny Leinenweaver II; grandchildren, Haiden and Nate Spurling, Kapri, Joy & Roland Bigham.

She was preceded in death by Lowell Andrew Mason Foster, and Brianna Ann Nash.

Services will be held May 1, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Latter Day Saints Church, in Wheatland, CA.

If anyone wishes to donate, please contribute to a college fund for her grandchildren.
