Virginia (Roa) Reynoso Obituary

Virginia (Roa) Reynoso, born on June 2, 1937 in Colusa, California, to the late Manuel and Anita Roa, passed away peacefully at age 80 on February 18, 2018 in Lakewood, Washington. Virginia is survived by her son, Vincent Reynoso Jr.; and daughters, Annie Spade (Sammy), Rachel Davit (Steve), and Emily Salo. She is also survived by three sisters, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Virginia (lovingly referred to as Eta) was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life giving to her family and nothing made her happier. She never missed an important milestone throughout the years; births, baptisms, weddings, she was there for it all. Many of her grandchildren played sports growing up and she made sure she was at every game (home and away) cheering them on.

Virginia was a stay at home mom until all of her kids had left home. She then went to work for MJUSD, where she retired in 2003, after 23 years. After retiring, she spent her days with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Even traveling to see them. She loved to travel and over the years, spent time in Germany, Mexico, and various states throughout the US. Some of her favorite memories were of traveling with her family and the many adventures that brought.

Virginia will always be fondly remembered as a strong, funny, spirited, and adventurous woman.

We will love you forever Eta!

Memorial services will be kept private.
