William (Bill) Coleman Obituary

Bill Coleman passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2015.

Born to Pauline and CW Coleman in Marysville, CA, on August 14, 1941, he was the oldest of four brothers. Bill was on the baseball team at Marysville High School, played for the Linda Cubs and coached Olivehurst-Linda Little League as a young man. He graduated with the class of '59 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963 and was stationed for a year in Germany.

Bill ran a distributing business supplying products to small businesses throughout the Yuba-Sutter area. He was artistic and enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, fishing, reading, painting and woodworking. Bill was very social and loved to laugh and joke. He was a free spirit and made friends easily. He moved to Los Osos in 2008 with his wife. There, he enjoyed the natural beauty and coastal climate.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Coleman; his children: Billy Coleman, Don Hoffman, Leigh Dobyns; and his brothers: Earl, Butch and Ron Coleman. We will all miss his roaring laughter and his generous spirit.

Bill requested a small family gathering in his remembrance.
