Berniece H. Johnson
Berniece H. Johnson, age 89, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013, at a local hospital. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:30 am, Saturday, October 5, at Miller Funeral Home, 13th and Main Street, Sioux Falls. No Visitation is scheduled.
Berniece H. Johnson was born March 17, 1924 in Eden Township, Pipestone County, MN, to Martin and Ida (Ihlen) Johnson. She received her education in the local area, District 29 and Ihlen Middle School, and graduated from Pipestone High School in 1942. Berniece moved to Omaha during World War II and worked for Glen L. Martin Co, where she was the final assembly inspector for B-26 Bombers. She lived a short period in Minneapolis, before moving to Sioux Falls. Berniece was employed at the Branch Office of the Queen City Fire and Insurance Co., Anchor Casualty Co., and the Agricultural Insurance Co., for 27 years. She was then employed at Dornberger/Berry and Co. for 15 years, until her retirement in 1989.
Berniece was a member of First Lutheran Church, and had been a member of Insurance Women of Sioux Falls.

Berniece was a very kind and caring person. She was my boss at Agricultural Ins. My sympathy and prayers to all the family, she was a wonderful person.
