Mildred Acheson
Mildred Acheson, age 96, of Madison, formerly of Chester, died Sat., June 4, 2016, at Madison Regional Health System.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, rural Colton with burial at Franklin Cemetery, rural Chester. Family present for visitation 5-7 PM Monday with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at Ellsworth Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son, Lyle (Barb) Acheson of Sioux Falls; one daughter, Jane Acheson (Bruce) Pearce of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, Alvin (Ann) Sundberg of Ridgeview, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl in 2006; two daughters, Carolyn Gale and Dian Acheson; and two brothers, Eugene and Gale Sundberg.

Sorry to hear of Mildred's passing. It was always good to visit with her at Bethel, she always had a smile and a good answer for everything. She was my Mother's whist partner at Bethel and a good friend of my husband's third grade teacher, Vangie Bell.

Mildred was in the next room to my Mom for many years.
She was a "ClassyLady"
I made a mistake to call her Millie one time and she said "I do not like to be called Millie but you can"
We always kidded her about taking her out for a ride.
We are sorry for your loss.
