Hugh Fullerton Obituary
Hugh R. Fullerton, age 89, of Huron, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at the SunQuest Health Care Center. His memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Sat., Dec. 26th at the First Presbyterian Church with military honors by the Huron Veterans Council. A private burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM, Wed., Dec. 23rd at the Kuhler Funeral Home with his family present from 5 to 7 PM.
Hugh grew up in Huron, was in the Army Air Force from 1944-1945, and then graduated from USD in 1949. He returned to Huron where he became partner with his father at Fullerton Furniture, Inc. He remained active in the family business throughout his adult life.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Huron; four sons, Hugh Jr. (Nancy) of Sioux Falls, William (Marlene) of Huron, Carroll (Julie) of Huron and Dr. Thomas (AnneMarie) of Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren, Abby (Ross) Halter of Huron, Andrew (Amy) Fullerton of Huron, Jay (Molly) Fullerton of Sioux Falls, Hugh Robert Fullerton, III of Phoenix, Arizona, Edward (Tosha) Fullerton of Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Andrea (Dr. Robert Ullom) Fullerton of Wichita, Kansas, Paul (Sarah Metter) Fullerton of Morristown, New Jersey, Connor Fullerton of Sioux Falls, and Riley Fullerton of Sioux Falls; nine great grandchildren, Lily and Ben Halter of Huron, Charlotte and Genevieve Fullerton of Sioux Falls, Wesley, Allyson, and Owen Fullerton of Huron, Morgan Fullerton of Sioux Falls, and Brooks Fullerton of Phoenix, Arizona; and AFS exchange student, Dr. Stefan Spinnell from Stockholm, Sweden. kuhlerfuneralhome.com

I never knew Hugh, but I'm sure if he was like his son Hugh Jr he was an outstanding person. Even though I have not seen Hugh Jr in many years I would like to pass on my sympathy to Hugh Jr and your family.
