Davean Omar Millwood "Dave" age 35 passed away on August 8th 2018 while swimming at Treasure Beach in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Dave was born on November 13, 1982 to Elfreda Smith at Spanish Town Hospital in St. Catherine, Jamaica. He moved into Sumbeam Boys Home at the age of 7 when his mother passed away from cancer. He lived there until the age of 18. Dave came to the US in 2003. He attended Waukesha County Technical College in Wisconsin where he obtained his associates degree in graphic design. He then moved to St. Cloud, MN and attended St. Cloud Technical College for his associates degree in Advertising. Davean met his wife Chantel Millwood in 2006. They married in St. Cloud, MN on May 30 2008. They lived in St. Cloud together for 4 years and welcomed their first daughter Amaya (9) into the world. After Chantel finished nursing school they moved to Garretson, SD. There they had their second daughter Sahara (7). Dave worked at Sanford USD Medical Center for 6 years. Dave loved playing all sports but soccer was his favorite and he loved teaching his daughters how to play. Anytime there was music you could find Dave dancing. Dave was artistic, a good cook and loved to joke around with everyone. He loved spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his mother Elfreda Smith and his sister Vineta Smith. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Chantel, daughter Amaya, daughter Sahara, sister Tracey Andrews, and sister Colleen Goulbourne. Niece's Aubree, Lily, Hailey, Mia nephew's Camdyn, Grady, Ezra and Dominic

and many other family members and friends.There will be an open house visitation for Dave on Saturday September 22 in Garretson, SD at Splitrock Park Canopy from 1-5pm.
