Sioux Falls - Delores B. Kaski, 92, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Thursday, August 09, 2018.

Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday, August 13, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, August 14, at Peace Lutheran Church, 5509 W. 41st Street with interment at Hills of Rest Cemetery.

Delores Beatrice Morud, daughter of Berger and Tillie (Anderson) Morud, was born December 31, 1925 in Toronto, SD. She grew up in Toronto and Clear Lake, SD. She moved to Watertown for a couple years and then moved to Mankato, MN with her sister, Arlene, where she worked as a waitress. She moved to Sioux Falls, SD where she worked at the Shriver's Tea Room.

She was united in marriage with Elroy Kaski on September 4, 1954 in Sioux Falls, SD. They were blessed with two children. Delores stayed home to raise her family. Elroy passed away on June 5, 1964. She later worked as a waitress for Chris's Country Diner. In the mid 1970's she worked in housekeeping at Good Samaritan Village.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She loved to bake. She had submitted a recipe to a radio contest, and she won. When the Center for Active Generations was going to select a name for the beauty salon, she submitted the name Golden Reflections which has been the name ever since. Delores was well read and enjoyed getting on the bus to go to the downtown library to read the paper and books of interest. She also enjoyed looking for books at rummage sales.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters, Karen (Jerry) Roemen, Tea, SD, Paula Kaski, MSgt USAF Retired Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren, Collin (Jennifer) Kaski, Amanda (Scott Wells) Mathis-Wells, Elizabeth (Robb) Venegas, Amy (Kevin) Hammer, Matthew Roemen; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Maynard Morud, Toronto, SD; a sister, Arlene Bertrand, St. Paul, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters, Rosella Grewing and Mildred Lambertz; a sister-in-law, Elaine Cronkhite.
