Dianne Lee Bachman Obituary
Dianne Lee Bachman

Dianne Lee Bachman, 60, left us to join God on August 17, 2015. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly..... In John 13:7 Jesus states that "You don't understand what I am doing now, but someday you will". It is difficult to lose a loved one and while we all ache at the loss, we must have faith (like Dianne would) that there is a bigger picture that we can not understand but may someday.

Dianne Lee Weidenbach, daughter of Marvin and Zella (Stevens) Weidenbach was born January 28, 1955 in Parkston, SD and graduated high school in 1973. She then attended St. John's and Franciscan Colleges and received a nursing degree. She was a registered nurse at Huron Regional Medical Center, Huron, SD, St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Duluth, MN and the Good Samaritan Care Center in Canton, SD.

Dianne was united in marriage with Paul Bachman on June 1, 1975.

Dianne Lee Bachman was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, nurse, friend, and aunt. She will be missed greatly but you only miss something because you were blessed to have something worth missing. She will live on in all of our hearts and continue to inspire all of us to be CARING, SUPPORTIVE, PASSIONATE, FAITHFUL, and FUN. Dianne enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, gardening, knitting, and traveling. Dianne and Paul were members at St. Therese Catholic Church.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Paul; four children, Nicholas (Monica) Bachman, Nathan Bachman, Amanda (Chris) Roland, Sarah Bachman; three grandchildren, Kaden, Kael, and Tylie Bachman; mother, Zella Weidenbach; brothers, Dick (Lois) Weidenbach, Steve Weidenbach, Byron (Marilyn) Weidenbach and sister, Linda (Bill) Roth. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Weidenbach and niece, Andrea Roth Boeve.

As a family we ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Brain Tumor research in hopes to find a cure for this terrible disease. Memorial gifts to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Medical Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710 to honor and commemorate a loved one and help us in our fight against brain tumors.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 901 N. Tahoe Trail, Sioux Falls, SD 57110. A liturgical wake service will be held Friday, August, 21, 2015 at 7:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home with family present from 5:00-8:00pm.
