Born in Webster, SD on July 5, 1915; died at the Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home in Bellevue, NE on Dec. 25, 2016. Preceded in death by wife, Vila Waddle; two brothers and one sister. Survived by daughter, Sheryl Fiene; grandson, Brian Fiene (Gina); great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Fiene, Madysen Fiene, and Mason Fiene; sister, Matie Heesch (Delbert).

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 28th from 5pm to 7pm at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W. Center Rd., Omaha. SERVICES Thursday, Dec. 29th at 10am in the chapel at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 11615 "I" St., Omaha. Military honors at the church by Millard American Legion Post 374 & VFW Post 8334. GRAVESIDE SERVICE and Interment Friday, 12noon at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, SD. Memorials to Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home; King of Kings Lutheran Church Care Ministry; or King of Kings Pre-School and Child Care.
