Jeremy Michael Hohn Obituary
Jeremy Michael Hohn

Columbus, OH - On June 6, 2018 beloved father, son and brother, Jeremy Michael Hohn passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence in Columbus, OH.

Jeremy lived and loved intensely. He came bursting into this world on February 10, 1977 born to Michael and Diane Hohn in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jeremy grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1995. He loved to snow board, skate board and play team soccer. Jeremy had a beautiful tenor voice that he shared with the world in his high school concert choir and worship team at church.

Jeremy graduated from Black Hills State with a degree in Business. Jeremy loved the outdoors where he mountain-biked and camped whenever he could. In his professional life, Jeremy managed a wholesale plant nursery before starting his career in insurance. Jeremy had a long association with Liberty Mutual where he was promoted multiple times. He was two-times Manager of the Year and was their lead trainer. Jeremy's career with Liberty Mutual took him from Albuquerque, NM, to Houston, TX, to Dallas, TX and finally Columbus, OH. Jeremy was well read and had an avid interest in political and world affairs.

In October of 2000 Jeremy was united in marriage with Karina Bliss and from this union he was blessed with three beautiful children: Jeremiah, Liliana, and Mathias.

Jeremy is survived by his children, Jeremiah (13), Liliana (11), and Mathias (8), his mother, Diane Van Patten of Nemo, his sisters, Erika Hohn of Boulder, CO and Vanessa Block of Salt Lake City, UT, four nephews and one niece. Also surviving Jeremy are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. His father, as well as both his maternal and paternal grandparents preceded Jeremy in death. His friends and family were very much loved by him and very important to him. We will all so miss his spirit of adventure and his spirit of fun.

A Memorial Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be held at 11 A.M on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 909 West 33rd St. in Sioux Falls, SD.
