She had a love of travel and the outdoors particularly hiking, backcountry and downhill skiing, camping, and bike touring, which included a 400 mile ride across Iowa. She was a beautiful quilter and an avid Birder. But most of all she was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
