Marvalyn Fuller, 80, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

Marvalyn was born September 20, 1936 at Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up in the Hartford area where she received her education, graduating from Hartford High School in 1954. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1957. She was married to Kenneth Shatter from 1957 until 1971. In 1973, she moved to Omaha, NE and worked for Fred Lowy Distributing for 11 years. Marvalyn moved back to Sioux Falls in 1985 and worked for Warren Supply until her retirement in 1988.

While living in Omaha, she became an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan and was also a big fan of Peyton Manning. She loved family gatherings and the family's favorite recipe of chicken and home-made noodles, which she liked served on her birthday.

She will be dearly missed and held in our hearts forever. We love you, Marv.

Grateful for having shared her life are her siblings, James I. (Delores) Fuller, Jr. of Brandon, SD, Leraan (Jackie) Fuller of Sioux Falls, SD, John Fuller of Hartford, SD, Dixie Lee (Gene) Jorgensen of Sioux Falls, SD, and Diane (Eric) Erickson of Montrose, SD. Marvalyn is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends, as well as her very special friends, Russ and Carol Greenfield and their daughter, Jill.
