Mary L. Queal, 76, of Sioux Falls passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

The family will be present to greet friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Sunday, November 22, at Miller Funeral Home-Downtown, 507 S. Main Ave. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 23 at First Presbyterian Church, 2300 S. West Ave. Private family interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mary Lee (Richardson) Queal, was born April 27, 1939 in Jeffersontown,(Louisville) KY. Following graduation from high school, she began working for AT&T in Louisville, KY. She retired after 30 years of service spanning several locations including Los Angeles, CA, Sioux Falls, SD, and Minneapolis, MN. During her career she held several management positions. She also spent time in Hawaii raising her family.

Mary moved to Sioux Falls in 1982. She was united in marriage with David K. Queal on Seprember 20, 1985. In retirement, they enjoyed house sitting in Hawaii and most recently wintering in Texas. She maintained a strong spiritual presence throughout her life and is at peace with her Lord.

Mary cherished her family and was a loving wife and mother. She was especially proud of her two grandchildren who enriched nanny's life with their laughter and smiles. She also enjoyed her weekly Mahjongg games with her close friends for the last 25 years.

Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Telephone Pioneers.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, David Queal, Sioux Falls, SD; her two sons, Kenneth (Colleen) Bashore and Gregory Bashore, both of Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, Henry Bashore and Vivian Bashore; both of Sioux Falls, SD; three sisters, Louise (Bellen) Mendoza, Jeffersontown, KY, Patricia Johnson, Willisburg, KY, and Judy Ceresi, Louisville, KY; a brother, Joseph (Jeannetta) Richardson, Louisville, KY; sister-in-law, Robin Richardson, Louisville, KY; and brother-in-law, Dennis (Linda) Queal, Princeton, IA; several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Richardson; and a brother-in-law, William Ceresi.
