Paul was a member of the American Legion and the Telephone Pioneers.

Paul is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Bonfoey, his sons, Mark (Ann) Bonfoey of San Jose, CA and Scott (Sharon) Bonfoey of Sioux Falls, SD, his grand-daughters, Alyssa and Ashley, his brother John (Jane) Bonfoey of Loveland, CO, sisters in law, Mary Jane Rea of Aberdeen, SD, Grace Paulson of Watertown, SD, Bonnie Davis of Littleton, CO and Joyce Bonfoey of North Pole, Alaska; his brother in law, Robert W. Hartman of Sioux Falls, SD; and many nieces and nephews.

Paul will always be remembered as a compassionate and caring relative and friend, deeply dedicated to family, and always had a kind word and warm smile for everyone he met. Paul and Pat were long time members of Celebrate Church in Sioux Falls.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-7:00 with a prayer service celebrating the life of Paul on Monday, April 11 at 7:00 pm, at the Miller Funeral Home, Main Avenue location in Sioux Falls. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 11:00 am at the Celebrate Church, 1000 S. Sycamore Avenue in Sioux Falls. Burial will be at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, SD.
