Phyllis Ann Bidwell

Phyllis Ann Bidwell, 85, of Circleville, Ohio, has gone to be with her Heavenly Father on November 6, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 12, 1931 in Pickaway County to Harry Bauer and Helen Louise (Quinn) Prushing. Her parents preceded her in death. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ross Bidwell; children, Brenda Kay (David) Lehman, Kenneth Ross Bidwell Jr. and Kimberly Ann (Dale) Freeman; 8 grandchildren, Michael (Jackie) Lehman, Joshua (Missy) Lehman and Benjamin (Amber) Lehman, Kendra Bidwell, Kourtney Bidwell, Shelly (Thomas) Herman, Raymond Freeman and Katee Freeman; 12 great grandchildren, Dillon, Kayleen, Melanie, Jett, Skyler, Makynza, Ayden, Ella, Benjamin, Patience, Seth and James Herman. Phyllis and Ross were long-time farmers. She helped with the family farming operations. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, playing cards and dominos. She made all the grandkids baby quilts and sewed lots of clothes for her children. Phyllis was known for cooking. She loved cooking for shut-ins and especially enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and church activities. While living in Florida, she was a member of the Red Hats. She occasionally played golf with her husband, Ross.

Phyllis and Ross also lived in Trent, SD, Winter Haven and New Port Richey, Fla. before returning to Ohio in 2014. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Beckett Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, November 11, 2016 between 4 and 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Berger Health Foundation, 600 N.
