Robert John Berceau died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at home.

Robert J. Berceau was born Jan. 31, 1932 at St Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI, the 4th child of Roman and Elizabeth (Pinchard) Berceau. On May 21, 1954, Robert married Marjorie Paul. In 1997, Marjorie died. In 2000, Robert married Judy (Haug) Paulsen.

He attended Nicolette and St's. Peter and Paul elementary school. He was team captain and played running back on the football team. Robert graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949 earning 3 letters in boxing.

Robert delivered groceries for "Berceau Grocery". In 1950 Robert began working for General Foods, Wausau, Wisconsin. For twenty six years Robert proudly worked for Procter and Gamble. Robert moved to Madison, WI. In 1964, as Unit Sales Manager for Procter and Gamble, Robert moved to Fargo, North Dakota. In 1977 Robert joined KPR Company as sales manager, retiring in 1996 as Vice President /General Sales Manager.

Along with being an avid hunter and Green Bay Packer fan, golfing, fishing, skiing were among Robert's favorite hobbies. He joined the Naval Reserves from 1950-1958. He was a member of the Fargo County Club for 29 years and Knights of Columbus since 1960.

Robert is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, David (Laurie), grandchildren, Anthony, Suzanne; son, John (Megan), grandchildren, Victoria, Charles and Abigail; daughter, Michelle (Joe) Williams, grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan, Dylan; step-son, Justin (Amy) Paulsen, step-grandchildren, Ava and Mallory, step-son, Joel (Nichole) Paulsen, step-grandchildren, Keira, Trevor, Finn, and Elizabeth; and his sisters, Barbara Gigot and Judith Ottinger.

Robert was preceded in death by his father and mother, Roman and Elizabeth Berceau, his wife, Marjorie, and brothers, Roman Berceau and Paul Berceau.

The funeral will be Tuesday, May 24, at 2:30 p.m. at Nativity Catholic Church with visitation one hour before the service. Memorials preferred to Nativity Catholic Church or Father Jack's Peru Mission, Friends of Chimbote.
