Martha Joan Fleming
Martha Joan Fleming, age 82, passed away November 23, 2016. Only child, beloved mother of 13, grandmother of 30 and great-grandmother of 27. Definition of unconditional love, there is no way we can properly articulate what an impact she made on the lives of all of those around her. Our hearts are heavy but we take comfort in knowing she's up there dancing with dad/grandpa/great-grandpa, her husband of 59 years, hopefully with endless amounts of pinot grigio, Virginia Slims and chocolate. She was the most selfless woman with the biggest heart and the best hugs. We are so blessed to have you as our "sweet angel" now. Martha leaves behind her children Trish Neary (Jack), Omaha; Jim Fleming (Mary), Sioux Falls; Peg Fleming, St. Paul; Terry Fleming (Sandy), Minneapolis; Julie Fleming-Wolfe (Greg), St. Paul; Tom Fleming, Sioux Falls; Kevin Fleming (Mariclaire), Rochester; Betsy Fleming, St. Paul; Patrick Fleming (Mary), Chicago; Joe Fleming (Jenny), Minneapolis; Mike Fleming (Katie), St. Paul; Molly Fleming Bowar (Matt), St. Paul; Andy Fleming, St. Paul, and all of their many offspring. She was preceded in death by her parents Cletus and Marjorie Natz, her husband Jim, and her grandson Drew Mickey. A heartfelt gratitude for all those who cared for Martha at the Waters and Allina hospice care. Mass of Christian burial 11:30 AM Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (515 Albert Street S., St. Paul). Visitation 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit.
