Charles Lewis "Chuck" Collins age 56, of Hot Springs Village formerly of Athens OH passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in his home. He was born July 8, 1960 to Howard and Anna Belle Dixon Collins. He was a self-employed automotive mechanic. He loved working on cars, fishing, camping and deer watching. Chuck attended First Assembly of God in Hot Springs Village and Victory Tabernacle in Hot Springs. Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Ida Davis Collins of Hot Springs Village; his children, Rodney (Renee) Handy and Gary (Derdra) Morris all of Hot Springs Village and Brandy (Timothy) Smyers all of The Plains, OH and ; his siblings, Allen (Jeannie) Collins of Columbus, OH, Steve (Lora) Gilliland of Jackson, OH, Melodie (Albert) Johnson of Ashville, OH, Pam (John) Lamb of McArthur, OH, Trish (Carl) Haddox of Jackson, OH and Anita Hill of Wellston, OH; his grandchildren, Ezariah Collins who was raised as his daughter, Salem and Sophia Handy, Behnjamin Collins and Zephaniah and Darlenea Morris; his mother-in-law, Edith Thomas of Hot Springs Village; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Victory Tabernacle 3840 Albert Pike. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral.
