Minnie Elizabeth Cottrill Wiseman, age 86, formerly of Woodville, OH and recently of Peoria, AZ, went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning in Athens, OH after a brief illness. Minnie loved to travel and cook and was a world renowned pie baker.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Andrew ""Bumps"" Wiseman; parents, Frank and May Cottrill; brother, Paul and sisters, Shirley West and Beverly Hamons; son-in-law, Thomas Wilcox and daughter in law Diane Wiseman. She is survived by her son, Raymond Wiseman of Fremont, OH; daughters, Rita Wilcox of Peoria, AZ and Marian (Bill) Green of Athens , OH; brother, Virgil Cottrill and sister Pauline Holliday; seven grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, Toledo, OH (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111) on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of Services at 11 AM. Burial, Restlawn Memorial Park. Online condolences: blanchardstrabler.com
