Howard DILL Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

DILL, Howard E. Howard Eugene Dill, 92, of Waycross died Monday morning (Dec. 24, 2012) at his residence. He was born in Milan, GA (Telfair County) on May 7, 1921 to the late George Henry Dill and Nannie Lowery Dill. Mr. Dill grew up in McRae, GA, graduated from McRae High School and later attended North Georgia College and State University and graduated from the University of Georgia with honors. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Harrell Dill of Waycross; one daughter, Carol Dill Cioffi and her husband Russ of Atlanta; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two nephews, several great nieces, nephews and other relatives. A funeral service will be held Friday, at 12 noon at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of your choice.
