ADAMS, Dorothy DOROTHY HUDSON ADAMS Mrs. Dorothy Hudson Adams, age 97, of Fayetteville, formerly of Riverdale, passed away June 9, 2009. She was born in Nashville, TN to the late Robert Hudson and Etta Griggs Hudson. She was the youngest of nine children. She had been a member of the Riverdale Presbyterian Church since 1938 where she was active in many of the Women of the Church activities. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and cooking. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Southern Regional Medical Center for ten years. Along with her parents, brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton B. Adams. She is survived by her daughter: Linda Adams Croft and husband Larry of Fayetteville; Grandchildren: Adam E. Croft and wife Stacy of Peachtree City and Beth Croft Bunn and husband Gene of Barnesville; Great-grandchildren: Connor Croft, Brendan Croft, Zoë Croft, Peyton Bunn and Sophie Bunn; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 14, at 3 o'clock in the Riverdale Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Riverdale. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.
