COOK (Higgins), Joyce Joyce Higgins Cook, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Radford Cook; parents, Carroll and Reba Higgins; sister-in-law, Diane Hosch Higgins; and brother-in-law, Darrell Born. Mrs. Cook is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Karen Lynn, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Katie L. Lynn, Buford, GA, and Joseph A. Lynn, Buford, GA; sisters, Dorothy Higgins Morse, Cumming, GA, Becky Higgins Born, Buford, GA; brother, Jerry Higgins, Buford, GA; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cook was born December 11, 1934 in Buford, GA. She was a 1950 graduate of Sugar Hill School and was retired from Massey Ferguson Company after thirty years of service. She was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Rev. Zachary Brown and Rev. Danny Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
