Family-Placed Death Notice

MADREN, Ken Mr. Ken "KV" Madren, 72, of Roswell, Ga. passed away Feb. 3, 2013. He was born in Lynchburg, Va to Babylee and Kenneth Madren, then raised in Charleston, SC. He attended Clemson University on a football scholarship where he graduated with honors. He served 4 years with the US Air Force before starting a successful mergers & acquisitions business. He served as CEO of Forsch Corp. and all of it's holdings for 35 years. In addition to his business accomplishments he was a professional race car driver. Racing around America and Europe. He was a devoted family man who cherished his time with his loving wife, Phyllis of 51 years, his son, Ken III (Lea) and sons, Chip (16), Jack (14) and Bret (12); his daughter, Kelly (Eddie) and stepdaughter, Katilynn (11). He is also survived by his brother, Don and his wife Kathy. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Roswell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Chip's Nation Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
