Family-Placed Death Notice

Meghan Elizabeth Giordano- Capossere, of Atlanta, GA passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the age of 29 after a 2-year battle with small cell cervical cancer. She was born January 31, 1984, grew up in Morrow, GA and graduated from Roffler Hairstyling College in 2010. She was married to Carl Capossere on July 31, 2012 in an amazing wedding celebration in Las Vegas, NV. Meghan was a vibrant and talented hair stylist, amazing wife, beautiful daughter, special sister, and devoted friend. She fiercely loved her family, her husband, and her dog, Ruckus. She loved the beach and hated broccoli. She was just as happy in mud-covered cowboy boots as she was in 4" heels. Meghan had her 15-minutes of fame on the TV series "Say Yes to the Dress". She is survived by her husband, Carl Capossere; father, William Giordano; mother, Valerie Giordano; siblings, Lindsay Giordano, Lee Giordano, and Kait Giordano; father-in-law Dana Capossere; brothers-in-law Jeremy Capossere and Michael Capossere; sisters-in-law Erin Capossere and Kassie Capossere; and two sweet nieces, Maizy and Harper; as well as her maternal and paternal grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins. And so many friends. Meghan was preceded in death by grandfather, Albert Giordano; grandfather, Kenneth Blackler; and aunt, Jennifer Blackler. Details of the April 21st Celebration of Life service will be posted on Meghan's Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in honor of Meghan at All funds collected will be donated to MD Anderson Cancer Center's "rare, but there" small cell cervical cancer research fund and Atlanta Underdog Initiative pit bull rescue.
