LENTINI, Vincent P. Vincent P. Lentini, Sr, 78 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Auburn, NY to the late John and Angelina LaPorta Lentini. Vincent is preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank Lentini and sister Bridget Cannella. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, watching sports and woodworking. Vincent enjoyed singing, gardening, jogging, camping, and doing volunteer work. He was an avid blood donor for the American Red Cross Society and was very supportive of his children. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Marjorie Brookshire Lentini of Monticello, children Teresa Lentini of Atlanta, Rosanna Lentini of Rome, Sabina and Bill Orbann of Stockbridge, Christina and John Strickland of Monticello, Vince and Melissa Lentini of Monticello, and brother Anthony and Darlene Lentini of Lilburn, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A rosary service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Wheeler Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 am with the Very Rev. Roberto A. Orellana officiating. Interment will follow after at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Guests may sign the online register at www.wheelerfuneralhome.com.
