Moon - William A. Moon, age 83 of Loganville, formerly of Stone Mountain, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Stephens & Rev. Dennis Moon will officiate. Interment will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Loganville. Mr. Moon retired as a forklift driver from Kraft Foods after 38 years and 9 months of service. He is a 1954 graduate of Stone Mountain High School & attended Sharon Baptist Church in Loganville. Mr. Moon is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janice Ellington Moon, Loganville; children, Bobby & Cathy Moon, Snellville; Beverly & Tracy Poole, Loganville; brothers & sisters-in-law, Charles & Sara Grace Moon, Loganville; Carlton & Beth Moon, Social Circle; David & Brenda Moon, Loganville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Lillian & Doak Wall, Monroe; Sue Garmon, Snellville; Helen & Sid Woolcot, Loganville; Amanda Mae & Chris Cannon; Charles Poole; great grandchild, Shelby Mae Thomaston; & several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home: 670 Tom Brewer Rd. Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
