Steven has such a positive impact on/w his peers and family, just as Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12 be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. This is how Steven made an impact for Christ.

He was the greatest cousin I could ask for. He has truly affected my life and made such an impact. I'm not going to lie I will miss him terribly but, I know that I have memories to help me get through. So many cherished memories. Steve kind of raised me, the saying "it takes a village to raise a child", he definitely had a hand in shaping me in to the young woman I am today. I will miss him but I know he is with the angels and our heavenly Father.

I met Steven on my first day at North Atlanta...his words to me were..."hey freshman what's your name?, are you in performing arts? and who is your teacher?...." when i answered, his response was "humph...well you look like you need to wake up! GOOD LUCK!"
A few others were around and thought that I would be offended until I laughed. Since that day, he and I always shared a smile and laughed together whenever we saw each other.
I pray GOD strengthens his entire family and comforts every life that he touched along the way.

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

I remeber the frist time i meet you in Dr. Mitchell class and you greeted all the male students and welcome us with a smile and said its not as bad as it may seem and it going to be a fun year. And years passed by and we ran back into one another you still greeted me with that warm smile and then we talked about old times and i will never forget that. May you and Dr. Mitchell forever rest in peace.

Dear Steven,
You already know how much I cared about you. I have been reminiscing about all the memories; I had with you from L.O. Kimberly Elementary School, Atlanta Metropolitan College, and supporting you at your plays at Morris Brown. You had such a big heart always aiming to please others through your work. I will never forget two things that you did for me that meant so much. You helped me design my coronation when I was crowned Miss AMC and you were hired as the coordinator for my grandfather’s 93rd Birthday Party. I will never forget how beautiful both events were. You were so gifted even as a child your projects in elementary school use to shame us all. I have never meet an individual as gifted as you. I remember telling you that you had no reason being in Georgia that there was really nothing we could do for you. I always envisioned you in Hollywood somewhere that’s where I felt you belonged. Your death hits home, because we are the same age and I can’t believe that someone I have walked with through life at different seasons is now gone. Your life and death brings more clarity to my own life and my purpose of being here on earth. I am destined to life out God’s plan for my life and I am grateful that we were fortunate to cross paths with one another. I will always remember you and hold you close to my heart. Your smile was unbelievable and made for the spotlight.

Our Dearest Steven,
I realize that I haven't known you as long as others, but there are some people who make a quick and lasting impression in your life. Three years ago we met during the Promise One, where you quickly assigned me parts because of my good memory...lol. We had some really good heart to heart moments (like when we drove to Panola Road for fabric, lol) and I really respect and love the person you are. Thank you for sharing and leaving such a legacy. REST IN PEACE UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!
Love,
Erika :)

I will never forget when I first met him in 1999 he helped me put my first show choir performance together with the late Dr. Darryl Mitchell. He never had anything negative to say and he confided in me a year later that he thought I was a excellent dancer and he admired me. From then on he and I were cool. We hung out, went to the Morris Brown Spring Affair with our dates (Ronda and Joi...before he went to Morris Brown) I helped him in numerous plays he did. Then he came to Morris Brown and we stayed cool. We had the type of friendship even if we didnt talk much we were still as cool as ever. He considered me a little brother. We shared alot of secrets, good times never bad times. When he did his intake for Phi Mu Alpha I remember talking to him telling him how proud I was and to stick through it. My friend it is a tough time for us here on earth as we enter mourning but I know we will see you and Dr. Mitchell again. I know they are in heaven right now workin on the biggest show ever.
Rest in Peace Steven..You will never be forgotten. The world is missing a great Brother, Friend and Brownite...The Entertainment world is missing a Legend. We Love you and Miss you dear friend!
