Ann (Sears) TRIBBLE Obituary
TRIBBLE (Sears), Ann Ann Sears Tribble, Duluth, Ga. passed away October 5, 2017. Born in Buford, Ga November 16, 1926 the youngest of seven children to Roe and Kate Sears, Ann made it her life work to meet as many people as she possibly could. Born happy and determined to make as many friends as possible and find unusual links to connect everyone to someone she was related to or knew. She married the love of her life L.H. Tribble, Jr. after a long distance 3 year pen pal romance. They were married 69 years and 2 days when L.H. passed on Christmas Day 2014. Ann worked all her life beginning at the 5&10 in Buford and then Georgia Shoe. She worked at Lockheed Aircraft in Marietta and then went to work for American Cyanamid Co. for 31 years and retired in 1987. She then went to work at Research Air Flo, Inc in Chamblee, Ga. for another 20 years, retiring from that work as an Administrative Asst just before her 85th Birthday. She had all her wits and sought to encourage, strengthen and enlighten everyone she met every day until the end. The world will miss Ann Tribble. We will miss her more than any words can say. She was a devoted Mother and Nana. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Son in Law Randy Shannon ("Meat Head"), all her brothers and sisters, George, (Inez), Earl(Alma), Loss (Picola), Roe Jr. (Evelyn), Abbie Kelly (John), Norma Bramblett (Joe), six nephews, (aunts, uncles and all but one cousin. Ann is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Shannon, Grandson Joel Shannon(Lynn), Granddaughter Judy Stein (Britt), Great Grand Children, Abbie Stein, John Shannon, Elizabeth Shannon and Will Stein, Nephew John Bramblett (Mairi) and a host of nieces, nephews and all their children and one cousin "Cat". Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, and Sunday October 8, 2017 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm. at Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. Private Burial following service.
