Anna FOUTS Obituary
FOUTS (McClung), Anna Pearl Age 79, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, died December 23, 2017. Anna was born March 31, 1938 in East Point to Ottis Lacester McClung and Ina Pearl Hemperley. In 1956, after graduating from Sebring High School in Sebring, Florida, she met James Ray Fouts whom she married on September 23, 1956. Employment included being a School Crossing Guard, United States Postal Carrier, and Kindergarten Teacher; however, she was most proud of being the Director of the Clarkston Baptist Church Preschool, from which she retired. She taught Sunday School for over fifty years, loved scouting and founded the Stone Mountain Red Hatters. Survivors include her children: Bonnie Annis (Philip), Valerie NaLampoon (Tinakorn), James W. Fouts (Susie), and Joy Pace (Damon); grandchildren: David LaCroix, Jr. (Lauren); Brianne NaLampoon; Corey NaLampoon (Cristy); Erin Garrison (Caleb); Laura West (David); Jamie Shannon; Hilary Mills (Shawn); Catherine Fouts; Tristan Fouts and Daniel Pace; 11 beloved great grandchildren; brothers: Joseph McClung; Carl McClung; sister: Bonnie McClung Barksdale; brother-in-law: Jerry Fouts; sisters-in-law: Jane McClung; Nancy Hamilton and Annette Fouts; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 55 years, James Ray Fouts; brothers-in-law: Richard Barksdale; Donald Fouts and Billy Fouts; sister-in-law: Geneva Fouts. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. immediately followed by the funeral service at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel (770 469-9811) with Pastor Joe Evett officiating. Interment will be Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
