Audrey was born to Samuel Johnson and Faye Myrtle (Todd) Hucks in Conway, SC, and moved to Jacksonville, FL at the age of 6. Audrey married the love of her life, Everett Richardson and played straight man to his humorous side for 33 wonderful years until his death in 1983. She graduated from Landon High School in 1948 and worked at Prudential Insurance. Audrey worked as a legal secretary for many years, including supporting Everett through FSU undergraduate and UF law school. Audrey was a gifted homemaker, seamstress and cook, volunteering countless hours to Garden Circle and PTA while devoting herself to her family and taking enormous pride in her children. She had a beautiful sense of fashion and always presented herself as a true Southern lady. When the girls were older, she again worked in the legal field, including serving as Court Clerk for The Honorable Harvey Schlesinger. She was very active in Swaim Memorial United Methodist Church and Alpharetta First United Methodist Church. In later life, she was a devoted wife to William S. Moore, Sr. for several years until his death in 2005. Audrey is survived by her daughters, Jan Carol Saltmarsh (Chris) and Mary Ann Coram (Jack), 4 grandchildren, Amy and Ellen Saltmarsh, Matthew and Sarah Coram, three sisters, Genevieve (Herb) Register, Elverta (Gordon) Kenney and Sharon Johnston, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell, GA. A service will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 11:00 am at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, with a reception at the church to follow. A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL on Friday, October 20 at 10:00 am.
