Betty Stiene Zucker Obituary
Betty Stiene Zucker, 86, of Sandy Springs passed away on September 10, 2017. She was born on August 6, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, and led a full and adventurous life including working for the US military in Germany during the Korean War. She made several job-related moves with her husband and family before settling in Sandy Springs in 1974. Betty attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and was a juried member of the Atlanta Artists Association and a founding member of the Atlanta Portrait Society. Her artwork was displayed in Gallery V in Roswell and the Atlanta Artists Center. She was a devoted wife and mother and loyal friend to those that knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert J. Zucker and son James R. Zucker, and her parents Louis and Susi Stiene of Ohio. Betty is survived by her daughter Vicky L. Zucker of Marietta and son Robert K. Zucker of Roswell. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 15, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA.
