BOTERWEG, III, Col. USA Ret. Conrad Col (USA Ret) Conrad Boterweg III was born October 27, 1940 in San Francisco, CA to Conrad Boterweg, Jr. and Leita Marie Cusac. He passed away February 1, 2018. Conrad graduated from Perry High School, Perry, GA. He was an Eagle Scout. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an ROTC commission in the U.S. Army from North Georgia College in Dahlonega, GA, in 1962. While serving on active duty, he received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. During his 30 year career his assignments included 9 installations as well as two tours in Vietnam. He graduated from both the Army Command and General Staff College and the Industrial War College. He commanded at every level. He retired in 1992 after completing his assignment as The Adjutant General at U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, GA. He was a lifetime member of VFW and NGC Alumni Association. He was currently residing in Atria North Point Senior Living Community in Alpharetta, GA, at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Anne Christine Boterweg and his son, Scott Conrad Boterweg. He is survived by his wife Patricia Adams Boterweg, daughter Catherine Ann Armanino (Rick), and two nieces, Denise Smith (Steve Kaiser) and Lisa Crow (Norm).
