To the Schwab Family,

We watched Emily grow up alongside our children. Our families nodded and smiled to each other at Mass each Sunday. Your loss is our loss. No, it's the world's loss and our collective hearts are breaking. But we take comfort, and hope you can too, in knowing there is TRULY another angel in heaven. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Words can’t express the heartbreak I feel for you, Kevin and Laura, as well as the entire family. I remember the light in Kevin’s eyes as he spoke of Emily when we were coworkers years ago. The love for her was powerful, pure, and with the passion that a father feels for his baby girl. You are in my prayers and thoughts, may God provide comfort for you all.

I am Meghans mother. We never were able to meet Emily but, we feel as if we knew her from the beautiful way Meghan would speak of her. From all we have heard Emily was a beautiful presence. She loved to help others and knew the importance of feeding and helping to provide for those e that had nothing. She viewed all humans as being part of a village instead of strangers. Emily had love and compassion for others without expecting anything in return. She was a beautiful soul. May she rest in peace and God grant peace to her beautiful family.

Emily was such a bright light; she lit up every room she entered. She lived her life with such joy and passion, that you couldn't help but be pulled along for the ride! I am so grateful to have known her through her special relationship with her Aunt Clara and Uncle Andrij. We are sending all of our love to Laura and Kevin, Andrew, Matthew, Peter and James, to her loving Grandparents and all of her family. We hope that Emily's light continues to shine brightly in all of your hearts.
