FREIHUBE, Garry R. Roswell - Garry R. Freihube died in his sleep January 1, 2018 A graduate of Kent State, U.S.Army Command and General Staff College, Garry entered the Army in 1959. Garry is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal(3), Joint Services Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon(2), Vietnam Commendation Medal and Vietnam Service Medal(7). After retiring from the Army in 1985, Gary started a consulting business where he traveled the US giving seminars and assistance to companies who engaged in business with the Army. Garry enjoyed the friendship of many members of The Atlanta Who's Who Club, The Atlanta Black Tie Club, The Executive Suite Singles Club, The After Hours Dance Club and The Atlanta Serendipity Club. His hobbies were golf, dancing and military history. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 22 at 11:00 am at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in the Kellett Chapel. Subsequently, two of his military friends will accompany his ashes to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where, with a full military service, he will be buried next to his mother and father.
