Jeri grew up in Pole Town, now known as Atlanta, Georgia. She and Tommy later moved to Crabapple, where they raised their family and made countless memories. She was an extremely loving mother to Mitchell Patten and Shelia P. Lockard (husband; Tony Lockard) and wife to Tommy Patten for almost 60 years. She had five grandchildren: Cristina Patten, Kyle Phillips (wife; Emily), Luke Patten (wife; Amber), Mark Lockard, and Sydnee Patten. She also had two precious great-grandchildren: Lennox Cole and Wyatt Patten. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy Patten; her father, Lloyd Medley and her mother, Eva Cobb Medley. Jeri was a floral designer at The Alpharetta Florist for 15 years. She also helped her husband run the family business, Patten Grading and Construction, for several decades, employing the whole family. Jeri was a caring mother who put God first and always loved sharing the gospel with everyone she met. She loved taking the family on vacations, especially yearly trips to Disney World each February. She loved having family get-togethers at her mountain home in Ellijay, which she kept decorated for Christmas year round and enjoyed sharing the Christmas spirit with everyone who visited. Jeri leaves behind a family legacy with her loving family filled with wonderful memories of trips and special conversations that she had with everyone. The family received friends and loved ones at Northside Chapel in Roswell on Saturday, November 25 from 4:00 to 7:00p.m. A funeral service will be held at Northside Chapel on Sunday, November 26 at 1:30p.m., followed by internment at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
