I met Hugh and Dorothy Robinson in the early sixties. He was a wonderful person and friend, and will be sorely missed.
My sympathies to His family and his many other friends. I will keep Hugh and his family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Bob Coheleach

I did not know Hugh, however I noted he sailed for AMERICAN EXPORT LINE about the same time I did. He graduated Fort Schuyler, I graduated Maine Maritime and immediately sailed with AEL.
I pulled out an old Deck Officer Crew list from that area and see Hough sailed as Jr. Third Mate on the SS EXCELSIOR with J. Marchant as Skipper.
I was on the SS INDEPENDENCE for 3.5 years, then later sailed with Marchant on freighters.
Small world!.
So sorry for you loss, Hugh lived an honorable life.
Regards,
Bob Bartek

I had the privilege and the pleasure of practicing before Judge Robinson from the 1980s through the 2000s - He was a consummate gentleman and an excellent jurist - He will be greatly missed.
