James Draeger Obituary
DRAEGER, James Max James Max Draeger, age 69 of Dacula, GA passed away after a sudden illness on Friday, December 29, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elaine Pinson Draeger, Dacula, GA., son James Max Draeger II, Jefferson, GA; a sister, Linda Loose Draeger, Chattanooga, TN.; brothers, Daniel Jay Draeger, Chattanooga, TN, and David John Draeger, Minneapolis, MN.; sister-in-law Joyce Watts, Glenville, N.C.; brother-in-law Walter Pinson (Gerlinda), Fairhope, AL.; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Draeger was born in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from City High School, Chattanooga, TN and attended Newberry College, Newberry, S.C. where he met his wife. He served six years in the USAR. Mr. Draeger spent most of his career in the hospitality industry managing restaurants for Marriott Hotels and Specialty Restaurants before founding Searchco, an executive search firm. Mr. Draeger was a member of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville, GA. He was an avid golfer and loved to cook, travel and spend time with family and friends. Services are currently pending. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the Lord Lutheran Church at 1001 Duluth Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30043 in memory of James M. Draeger.
