MANLEY, Jeanette Hunt Jeanette Hunt Manley, 86, peacefully passed away at her home in Gainesville, GA on Thursday, November 23, 2017. She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, James R. "Jim" Manley, also of Gainesville. She leaves two sons: Scott (Cindi) Manley of Roswell, GA, Phil (Julie) Manley of Auburn, GA, four grandchildren: Kyle (Halle) Manley of Natchitoches, LA, Jackson Manley of Severn, MD, Jordan Manley (Joseph) Diaz of Auburn, GA, Hannah Manley (Coby) Durden of Sugar Hill, GA, and two great-grandchildren: Cooper and Cameron Manley of Natchitoches, LA. Mrs. Manley is also survived by one brother, Robert (Sylvia) Hunt of Conyers, GA as well as a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Pete" and Myrtle Joyner Hunt and a grandson, Mitchell Scott Manley. Mrs. Manley was born on June 29, 1931 in Atlanta, GA, and graduated from Murphy High School in 1949. She completed a thirty-year career with Trust Company Bank as an Executive Secretary before finally retiring from Russell Reynolds & Associates. She was a member of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church in Braselton, GA. Memorial service will be held at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church 2:00pm on Saturday, December 2nd with reception to follow. Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church is located at 4675 Winder Hwy. Flowery Branch GA, 30542. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Eagle Ranch, 5500 Union Church Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 or Homestead Hospice, 1561 Lenru Rd., Suite A, Bogart, GA 30622.
