OSBORNE, Jeffrey D. Jeffrey D. Osborne (Jeff), 56, of Dunwoody, Georgia passed away suddenly and joined our heavenly Father on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Parkland Hospital Dallas, TX. Jeff was born on September 25, 1960, in Lebanon, IN: son of Lois Marie Dye (Robert Lee "Bob") Hulley and James Osborne. He was a graduate of Zionsville HS '78 and Indiana State University '82. On June 2, 1990, he married his best friend Susan Elizabeth Geurts. Jeff was a member and Past President of the Pike Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Indiana State University (ISU). He loved being involved and became a member of the Union Board co-chairing Homecoming. He was an avid INDY 500 race fan. He never missed a season with his friends and family. He had a tremendous love for baseball and enjoyed taking his girls to the Atlanta Braves games. He also coached his daughter in softball throughout her middle and high school years. A small business owner, Jeff established A1 Lawn Care serving the Dunwoody Community. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan (Geurts) and is the loving father of daughters, Katie and McKenna Osborne; in addition he is survived by his father, James Osborne of Naples, FL and mother, Lois (Robert) Hulley of Zionsville, IN; siblings: Osborne brothers, Dean (Michael Lunden) Osborne and Darrell (Michelle McCarthy) Osborne and their 4 children, Meghan and Emily Osborne and Alyssa and Savannah McCarthy, of Indianapolis, IN and sister, Angie Hulley (Mel) Zolina and their two daughters, Kiana and Aaliyah of Orange County, CA. His stepmothers, Kay Osborne and Jean Carter Osborne preceded Jeff in death. Susan would like to recognize his dad's brothers, uncles Robert (Betsy) Osborne and Gary (Jill) Osborne and aunt Edna. His mother's sisters, aunt Louise Dye (Meredith) Abbitt, and Margaret Dye (Jim) Higgins and stepdad's sister, Maxine Jones. Susan would also like to thank her mom, brother, and sisters and their children for all of their love and support. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at H.M. PATTERSON & SON Arlington Chapel located at 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11 am at Dunwoody United Methodist Church located at 1548 Mt. Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA. Friends and family may also visit with the family from 10 am - 11am at the church. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Jeffrey D. Osborne to the Pike Kappa Alpha Scholarship Fund at Indiana State University, Dunwoody United Methodist Church Dunwoody, GA or Dunwoody High School Girls Softball, Dunwoody, GA.
