John HEINZELMAN Obituary
HEINZELMAN, John Joseph John Joseph Heinzelman, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at his home in Johns Creek, Georgia. Jack, as he was known to friends, or "Papa" to his family, was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After serving in the US Army during WW II and receiving a Purple Heart, he attended Northwestern University and graduated in 1949. In 1953, he married Elizabeth Hamel in Chicago and moved to Atlanta in 1962. Jack worked as a salesman for Klein Tools for over 30 years. With Jack's passing, the world has lost one of its most loving, caring and supportive souls. His calm personality and great sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. His spirit and legacy will live on through his family and the many friends who have come to know and love him. Jack will be reunited with his loving wife, Bette, and is survived by his four children and their spouses, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Karl, Donna and Tyler Heinzelmann; Chris, Vic and Victor Fontana, Fia, Jason and Nico Spindel; Lindy, Kem, Victoria and Carly Swanson; Beth, Dave, John David and Eric Strickland. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Road, John's Creek, GA 30097. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior
