PERRY, Jr., Julius The Victory Celebration for Julius Perry, Jr. will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Philip A.M.E. Church, 240 Candler Rd., S.E., Atlanta. The Reverend William D. Watley, Ph.D., senior pastor and eulogist. Reverend Priscilla Adams will preside. The body will lie in state one hour before the service. Interment Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross. A native of Twiggs County, GA, Julius Perry grew up in Passaic, NJ. A 1962 graduate of Morris Brown College (Atlanta), he was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He travelled extensively and was known to always keep at least one fishing rod in the trunk of his car. Julius Perry, Jr. was a Certified Public Accountant and retired as Chief Financial Officer of Johanson Manufacturing Company in New Jersey prior to relocating to Roswell, GA. Those who cherish his memory include: his loving wife, Doris Perry; devoted children, Julius A. Perry, III and Traci Perry Lockett (Andrew); grandchildren, Akil Jelani Perry and Perri Denise Lockett; siblings, Addie Perry, Lois Allen, and King Perry (Glories); sisters-in-law, Ruby Hodges, Maria Vega Perry, and Beverly Perry; other relatives and friends.
