June Gatlin REDDICK Obituary
REDDICK (Gatlin), June June Gatlin Reddick of Tucker, GA went to be with her Savior, Tuesday, January 9th at the age of 88. June lived all of her life in Tucker and graduated from Tucker High School. She also graduated from the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority and remained active for over fifty years. There were many loves in her life but three of her greatest were Jesus, her family and music. She committed her life to Christ at a very early age and sought to please and serve Him faithfully for the rest of her life. One way she served him was to play the piano and organ for Tucker Baptist Church, Rehoboth Baptist Church, Northwood Baptist Church and Mountain West Church of God. She taught piano for thirty years and loved her students. She is preceded to heaven by her parents, Henry Ernest Gatlin and Lula Mae Cain Gatlin; a great-grandchild, Abigail Esther Streib, and her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Alton Irwin Reddick. She is survived by her two sons, Phillip Alton Reddick (Anne) and David Gatlin Reddick (Sharon); by her four grandchildren, Ginny Reddick Streib (West), Catherine Reddick Whitehill (Robert), Kathleen Reddick Smith (Stephen) and Claire Gatlin Reddick; by her three great-grandchildren, Suther Dane Smith, Mary Virginia Streib and Foster Louis Smith.
