Family-Placed Death Notice

MRS. LUCILLE WEST LYLES Mrs. Lucille West Lyles, 50, died September 10, 2004 at her home under Hospice Care. Mrs. Lyles resided in Stone Mountain, GA for 25 years and was born in Bellinger Hill, SC. She was a graduate of the class of 1972 of SHS and class of 1976 of SSU. She was employed as an insurance adjuster for AIG and a member of St. Philip AME of Decatur, GA. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Marion "Nate" Lyles, Stone Mountain; daughter Tika Lyles, St. Mountain; son, Tero Lyles, St. Mountain; parents, Missionary Ariebell West, Savannah; sisters, Peggy Varnadore (Geratha), Pooler and Ms. Beatrice Samuel, Pooler; brothers, Maurice Bentley (Lori), Savannah and Harold West (Frunscean), Savannah; grandmother, Mary Fireall, Savannah. Memorial service, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2004 at St. Philip A.M.E., Decatur, GA. Funeral 12 noon Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Louis Pentecostal Temple. Burial Bellinger Hill, SC. In lieu of flowers, all donations should be given to the American Cancer Society. Michael and Brown Funeral Home, Savannah, GA.

When I worked in the Atlanta office, I will always remember Lucille for her kindness and hard work. She was always a good resource of information and always had time to assist others even though her plate was full.
