WILLIAMSON, Lynn Wayne Mr. Lynn Wayne Williamson, 50, of Clarkston, GA passed away on December 2, 2017 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Williamson was born July 18, 1967 in Tallahassee, Florida and lived an exuberant life full of love and joy. Upon graduation from Brooks County High School and Valdosta State University, Lynn worked for a number of organizations in Atlanta including the Woodruff Arts Center. Lynn enjoyed a career at Central Atlanta Progress for sixteen years. As the Marketing and Creative Director he left his mark on Downtown Atlanta through his dedication, enthusiasm and creativity. Upon his death, Lynn was employed by Hughes Turner Phillips, a boutique design firm. Lynn possessed a zest for life that was a treasure to all who knew him. He was a vibrant, radiant and glittering soul and was a true friend to many. The lives of all the people he touched were enriched by his imagination, quick wit and extraordinary sense of humor. Lynn Williamson was truly one-of-a-kind and he will be deeply missed. Mr. Williamson is survived by his husband, Matthew Turner of Clarkston, Georgia; his mother, Gloria Cooper of Telford, Tennessee; and his sister Nancy Phillips of Pensacola, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, David Williamson. A celebration of Life is being planned in Atlanta, Georgia on January 13, 2018.
