Richard WOLFE Obituary
WOLFE, Richard Wayne Former Atlanta resident, attorney, and health care professional Richard Wayne Wolfe, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at age 66. He is survived by his wife, Angela Masters, two sons Richard Brandon Wolfe and Preston Alexander Wolfe, daughter-in-law Allison Wolfe, one sister, one brother, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wolfe was a 40-year health care professional and owner of the highly-acclaimed Sunrise Health Center, Florida's largest proprietary long-term care facility. He served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a New York Stock Exchange company based in St. Louis, Missouri with regional offices in California and Florida. He was a member of the Georgia State Bar, American Bar Association, United States Supreme Court Historical Society, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and United States Supreme Court. Mr. Wolfe was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity ETA RHO Chapter, and in 2004 was appointed to Western Kentucky University Board of Advisors by the then President Gary Ransdell. A private graveside service was held in Atlanta, Georgia. A Life Celebration will be held at Cherokee Town Club on December 16. Above all, he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family.
