Russell FERRELL Obituary
FERRELL, Russell Master Jeweler, renowned Artist and expert Craftsman, passed unexpectedly at twilight on Nov. 27, 2017. Beloved, respected and deeply attuned, Russell Willis Ferrell Jr., born and raised in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was the first Black Artist to exhibit at the Fine Arts and Crafts Fair in Philadelphia's historic Head House Square, oldest marketplace. Russell Ferrell actively designed and handcrafted countless admired works for over fifty years. Locally and worldwide, exquisite jewelry, spectacular paintings and fine sculptures by him have been enjoyed for more than half a century. Russell Ferrell retired to Titusville, Florida in 2005 and was creating brilliant masterpieces well into his seventies, before resting in Castleberry Hill art district, Atlanta, Georgia. Russell Ferrell leaves his huge devoted family and positively impactful legacy of artistic genius.
