ROSENBLATT, Virginia Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, 93, of Chamblee, GA passed away and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017. She is survived by daughter, Lynn Gatlin and son-in-law, Wendell; granddaughter, Kristen Austin; husband, Chris Austin; great grandchild, Carson Austin of Lawrenceville; nephew, Jim Taylor and wife JoAnn, Marietta; great nephew, Jay Taylor and wife Amy and their children, Reid, Morgan, Lawson and Chloe of Marietta; Nephew, Keith Lambert and wife Willie of Beaufort, North Carolina. Virginia was born in North Carolina and fell in love with a soldier, Al Rosenblatt, during WWII. They were married for 62 years. In 1957 they moved to Atlanta and Virginia began her career in bookkeeping. Her first job was at Griffin Marine where she worked until retirement. Then at 65 she began her 2nd and 3rd jobs. She officially retired at the age of 86. Her Christian life of service was very important to her. Even in her older years she worked with the VBS, Sunday School, Finance and Kitchen Committee. She was loving, calm and giving, always thinking of others before herself. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held at Northeast Baptist Church, 4046 Chamblee-Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA 30340 on Saturday, November 18th at 11:00am.
