ARCARO, Jerome Mr. Jerome (Jerry) Arcaro, age 92, of Winder, GA passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Natalie Piccolo Arcaro, three sisters, three brothers, and lifelong friend, Pat Galante, who was more like a brother than a friend. He is survived by his daughter, Sister Susan Arcaro, Hoschton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Nina Arcaro, Lake Mary, FL; grandchildren, Susan Mack and her husband Robert Mack, Nashua NH, and Brian Arcaro, Spartanburg, SC; four great grandchildren, Alexa Mack, Veronica Mack, Gabriella Mack, and Krysta Mack, of Nashua, NH, a sister-in-law, Teresa Arcaro, San Clemente, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Mr. Arcaro was born October 15, 1921 in Waterbury, CT. He was a World War II veteran and very proud of his time in the United States Army. He was a retired supervisor of maintenance for the State of Connecticut Hospital System. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA and was known for his patriotism and generous heart. He was a member of the American Legion. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. Burial with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, CT 06705 (203) 753-0776.
